We found out earlier this year that Camille is hard-of-hearing. Not exactly deaf, but not a "normal" hearing kid either. She'll require hearing aids, for the rest of her life, to give her sound as close to equivalent as "normal". Her hearing loss is progressive. She may be deaf one day; we just don't know.
So yesterday was the big day to get hearing aids. The new audiologist, Dr. Kennedy, is very, very nice. After she filled Camille's ears with the molding material, she let Camille have the extra to play with. Camille was a real trooper... completely brave and steadfast throughout the whole process.
She chose purple hearing aids and pink ear molds with glitter. I imagine they will look quite fashionable :)
Faye! Cami is so beautiful! I am so glad to "meet" you all!
